Having served as GodwinGroup CEO for 15 years before assuming his current role as chairman in 2006, Danny serves as senior counsel on key accounts. He is frequently called upon by CEOs of many of Godwin’s leading corporate accounts. Danny has assisted clients with issues management challenges in areas as diverse as healthcare, economic development and education. His former clients include Borden Inc., W.K. Kellogg Foundation, BFI, and Hughes Environmental Systems. Danny is the founder of the GodwinGroup Issues Management Network and, as such, provides strategic direction and serves as chairman of the board. He served two consecutive terms as president of the Southern Public Relations Federation. In 2007, Danny was named to the Mississippi Business Hall of Fame, the first PR practitioner to be named among the group.
